Welcome to a week-long culinary escape dedicated to learning & play, the RecipeKick Way.

Courageous Cook Camp is an unparalleled cooking retreat that celebrates high-end homey hospitality AND combines the thrill & skill of recipe-free culinary classes using our proprietary Courageous Cooking Method; wellness activities like sound healing & yoga (all optional!); and plenty of culinary excursions to local makers and farms.

Cook Camp is for ANYONE who wants to cook better, play with flavor and friends, and relax into the ease of a Provencal holiday on the historical properties of La Pitchoune and Bramafam. Led by our team of super passionate instructors from all over the globe, we’re here to wow and inspire you to create and expand your capacities as a cook; and to play with what it means to be present and in the here and now.

This ain't your typical 'campy' summer camp! It's all about a low-key vibe, ditching recipes and going with the flow. Forget the canteen—there's an open bar, and plenty of things to keep the evening flowing long after the sun sets. And when it comes to campfire treats, we're talking Croissant S'mores! Outdoor kitchen lessons! And more.

Every step of the way you get to choose your own adventure. You arrive to our gorgeous campus, you pick your cadence (lots of cooking? Less cooking? More markets?) And the next day, we give you your personalized schedule created from everything you wanted and more. Ultimately, our ‘counselors’ are here to make your dream vacation and learning experience come true.

Starts at $6,500 per person

Every experience at Cook Camp is all-inclusive* once you arrive to our campus
(*Experience cost excludes flight and transport to & from campus, souvenirs, and other personal expenses.)

Your questions, answered! Don’t see an answer here? Give us a ‘hi there’ in the chat box!

  • Everything but flights and transport to and from the airport. All of our trips are all-inclusive.
We take care of all the accommodations, meals, drinks, tours, gratuities, transportation during the trip, cooking lessons, and excursions; with lots of laughter to boot.

  • You’ll book your flights in and out of Nice-Côte d'Azur airport.

Arrival. You must arrive by 2pm on arrival day so we can get you all settled in.

Departure. For departure day, checkout is 10am so book a flight that leaves in the afternoon, preferably after 1pm.

  • We recommend you take an Uber or a Taxi. We will have some places to park, but NOT MANY! So if you must rent a car, you have to let us know by emailing hello@recipekick.com

  • WiFi is available, and cellular phone service is available but limited. Most people will largely unplug and just check in as needed. There's an unapologetic absence of oversized plasma TVs.

  • We don't do vegetarian or vegan for camp. But we can accommodate pescatarians who aren't picky about potential cross-contamination.

  • VERY LITTLE! The ‘as seen on TV’ version of the cooking school was retired in 2025. That program had no flexibility, and this one…Does! But it’s still the same pedagogy and staff that made the old school so popular! Also, the group size on this one is about double, but the cooking classes? Same small class size of less than 8 people per class for any hands on classes.

  • Great question! The Courageous Cooking School was an in-depth culinary immersion focused on changing how you relate to cooking. It was nearly double the price, a smaller group, and it would take two to three cook camps to achieve the same knowledge.

The Courageous Cooking School was a school, not a retreat. This uses the same pedagogy, but builds in flexibility of choice. If you’ve attended the school you can still attend camp, too.
